On Tuesday, December 10, the FIVA Group welcomed 10 students from Collège Cachin as part of the first edition of the “Parcours Entreprises” project. The Campus des Métiers and AISCO are at the initiative of this joint school-business project, which aims to provide concrete help to secondary school students in their orientation.
The time of a morning, the FIVA Group therefore immersed these students in its activities, its trades and related training. A program that is both complete and has been prepared for these few hours of visit.
High school students first of all, they were able to discover the company with Aurélie Marichal, Recruitment Officer.

« This visit is the perfect opportunity to showcase our businesses and show that the industry sector is dynamic. It also helps them in their orientation by showing them that there is local work and appropriate training. »
Jean-Michel Louveau, Head of DIVA Engineering Activities and Éric Jounot, Head of Techno Pro Activities, took over to present their respective entities.
The company has then exposed his professions and more particularly that of Draftsman/Projector thanks to the testimonies and explanations of two collaborators: Thomas MARIE and Julien LECARPENTIER.

« I think it’s a very good initiative for both the company and the students. Personally, I found my vocation thanks to a job forum but I tell myself that if I had been able to visit a company and discover its activities with demonstrations it would have made me want even more! »

« Being at the heart of the company and discovering its activities live I find it very rewarding. We could really see that they were interested when we showed them concrete things. »

To finish the morning in beauty, Serge Boniface, General Manager of the FIVA Group, gave them proposed an introduction to Virtual Reality.
