PACIFIC 2019, the leading international maritime exhibition, was held in Sydney from 8 to 10 October 2019. Specially designed to meet the needs of industry, government and defence professionals, the FIVA Group could not miss this event. A look back at these 3 days.
This exhibition brought together the main players in the merchant marine, coastal services, maritime industry and defence sectors as well as military and government decision-makers from all over the world. A great opportunity for the FIVA Group to meet new people but also to keep in touch with its current partners.
« This show allowed us to meet, in a few days, many French companies with whom we were able to talk about our Australian experience, explains Serge Boniface, General Manager. We also had the opportunity to talk to our main NAVAL GROUP contacts, whether French or Australian, our ASC partners, potential customers such as BAE or NAVANTIA, but also many Australian manufacturing companies, including a company in Tasmania. These companies are eager to collaborate with us because of our knowledge of naval military and our local presence with Cadgile and Kadego. Gary and Gavan were excited because their membership in the FIVA Group now brings in potential customers of their own. We were also able to offer, on the joint stand of Kadego and Cadgile, an immersion in Virtual Reality in the engine room of the CMN longliner. This presentation to our interlocutors was a real added value to attract customers. »
