It all began on November 26, 2018, for our ten trainees who were beginning training in the trade of Piping Design Technician, at the premises of FIM CCI Formation in Cherbourg. A few months later, the time for evaluations was set to symbolize the end of their training.
On March 27 and 28, the trainees experienced the stress of the exams with a written and an oral test. The most difficult thing was to wait for the results announced that same evening. And it is with brio that 9 trainees validated their evaluations!
The validation of these evaluations allows them to pass a module of the Professional Title of Level IV (professional baccalaureate) of Technician of Studies in Boilermaking and Industrial Piping. The title is composed of 3 Certificates of Professional Competencies (PCC). The trainees had the opportunity to spend the 3rd CCP which is entitled: “To carry out the study of a general installation of industrial piping”. The content includes: plan production and constitution of a technical file of a general piping installation industrial.
“We have had 100% success in the evaluations and we are proud of it,” says Aurélie Marichal – Recruitment Officer. We congratulate all the trainees for this validation, which was possible thanks to the help of Joël CATHERINE and Rodolphe HAMEL. But the hardest part is yet to come! »
Without wasting time, the trainees joined the DIVA Engineering teams. At the beginning of April, four of them completed a training course in CADDS software and then integrated the Barracuda platform into phase D and began a companion program with technical references. Two others joined Naval Group on April 8 on an augmented reality service. As for the last one, she joined the agency’s BE to start a period of companionship.
“It is now necessary for new recruits to familiarize themselves with the naval environment,” concludes Jean-Michel Louveau, Head of DIVA Ingénierie activities. To this end, we rely on our employees to help them develop their skills and support them in their learning. These are people who are motivated to progress in this new profession, it is up to us to help them gain in skills and autonomy.”
Feedback will be provided at the end of the year and the possibility of a future training session will be discussed.
