As the club’s main partner, Groupe FIVA has been supporting the Rugby Club Cherbourg Hague (RCCH) for several years, not only for the love of the sport but also for the values it promotes.
The relationship between the club and Groupe FIVA was born from a love for the oval ball conveyed by the Vergez family. It began in 1966 with the involvement of Mr. Alain Vergez, one of the founders and one of the first players of the club. He then passed on his passion to his son, Yannick Vergez, who in turn became a player for several years. Supporter of the 1st hour, Yannick Vergez becomes CEO of Groupe FIVA and wishes to support his club of heart as well as this sport which he particularly likes. This is how the relationship between the club and the company was created!
For Groupe FIVA, becoming a partner was important not only to support the club but also to associate the company’s image with the values of rugby: respect, solidarity, commitment, sharing, conviviality, etc.
Through this partnership, the Group also wishes to participate in the development and promotion of this sport, which is now an Olympic sport, whether it be for XV, X, 7 or 5 players.
In short, as you can see, the relationship between the RCCH and Groupe FIVA is one that is not about to end!
